2009 / 2010 OFSC Driver Training

The Osgoode Carleton Snowmobile Trail Club hosted two Snowmobile Driver Training courses this season for young Snowmobilers between the ages of 12 and 15.

The Ontario Law states that all operators “MUST” have a valid MTO driver’s license, sled registration, proof of ownership and valid insurance to operate a motorized snow vehicle off their own property.

To that end we offered two Snowmobile Driver Training courses ( Dec. 5, 2009 and Jan. 9, 2010) this season.

Pre-registration was required as each Course can only hold 25 applicants. The Course is approximately 7 hours long, costs $30 and includes a written exam. There is an additional $ 5 fee for Lunch.
