Disclaimer

The Trail Status posted here is for general information only and does not necessarily reflect the Trail Status at the time of your ride or the actual local trail conditions you may encounter. The Trail Status is gathered from club volunteers and is valid only at the time of their observation. Their observations may not meet your expectations and the Trail Status may vary from the time of posting. The Trail Status may vary with changing conditions such as temperature, snow quality, type of terrain and usage. Please exercise caution at all times and be prepared for the unexpected. Remember that the snowmobile trail is providing you with an off road experience that has inherent risks, because it occurs in an unpredictable and uncontrollable natural setting, which demands constant rider preparedness, vigilance, caution, unimpaired reaction and smart choice. Trail signs are posted only for your convenience and there is no guarantee that they will be there at any given time due to wind, rain, storms or vandalism.
You can also visit www.ofsc.on.ca for updated trail conditions for all regions in Ontario.

Snowmobiling is an inherently risky off-road activity that occurs in an unpredictable natural environment, so every rider enters OFSC Prescribed trails at their own risk. Snowmobilers must know the “Assumptions for OFSC Trail Use” prior to using an OFSC Trail.

Thank You Landowners

Thanks to our Landowners

Throughout our trail system, generous landowners allow the winter use of their property for the enjoyment of snowmobiling. Thank You from all the OFSC clubs and volunteers in Ontario.

Trail quality is one of the key strategic initiatives being acted upon by the club President and the rest of the team.  So far we have committed to invested over $16,000 in rerouting some of the key the A trail near Metcalfe, completed the rebuild of the BR180 and purchased the a drag.  We have expanded the number of groomer operators to seven and will have three groomers on the trail.  Remi Sauve of the Glengary Snowmobile Club provided our groomers with hands on training.  The sledders fourm is being updated regularly with messages about grooming status. The groomer team will be following the best practices outlined in the document provided by Mickey.
